In keeping with the growth, the Dragon Pharma has had to continuously invest in manufacturing capacity to meet the growing demand for its products. The group currently has four manufacturing facilities for formulations and one contract manufacturing facility for biotechnology products.
The main facility is located in Europe, but four formulation facilities are based in India – two in Goa, one in Karnataka and another in Himachal Pradesh. The Dragon Pharma also has a manufacturing facility for monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins located in the USA that services the US and EU markets.
Quality Control: We believe total quality control in everything we do, including extensive quality control tests at the modern and well-equipped laboratory at each factory site. The Wallace Group also has a centralized QC laboratory in Ponda, Goa, accredited by Government Of India, guarantees that all products are manufactured as per stringent pharmacopoeial specifications.
ISO – 9002 Certification: Dragon Pharma is an ISO – 9002 company. This International standard specifies quality system requirements required, where a manufacturer’s capability to design and supply conforming products is demonstrated. These specifications are aimed primarily at achieving customer satisfaction by preventing nonconformity at all stages.
ISO – 14001 Certification: Dragon Pharma is an ISI-14001 company. This certification gives the requirements for environmental management systems as the company always endeavors to operate in an environmentally sustainable manner.
All the manufacturing facilities are not only WHO-GMP compliant but are also approved by regulatory bodies of India and the respective countries.
